How do ye do it?

So I'm just shattered!

Apart from helping Mum take all the water out of the water bed which is bad enough, 

we decided to paint the room at the same time!

Ok it was only one wall but I'm buggered!

So the room is now a lovely lemon on 3 walls, and a raspberry/fuchsia on one!  

You could eat it if you could eat a wall!

Then we had to re-make and re-put in the water in the bed! 

*faints*

But I was knackered before that so now I'm the deal a-walking!  


See ye have to understand that we the O'Hanlons do not take time to do shit!

In other more interesting news I've been taking on by Etopia Press as one of their cover artists! 

Now I am in in other publishers but Annie is just such a star so I'm chuffed to be working with her, Amanda and Valerie! 

Twill be AWESOMESAUCE DARLINGS!

Ravensdale forest about 2 weeks ago before the trees started turning! I be planning an extensive visit 

on Friday for some fab shots! Here's hoping the mist fucks off!

Butterflys!

I just love butterfly's! I do!

I took some pics of them on our butterfly bush's and since its getting all cold and wet that they may bring a smile!

   

 

 

 

 

These are all Vanessa atalanta or Red Admirals on a Buddleia bush.
I do believe there was near on a orgy on the white ones!

 

I tell ya what they are REALLY hairy! Like Immac/Veet would struggle! :-P

We counted up to 11 on it and it's only a baby bush compared
to the other BIG purple one!

Yes I know! I'm experimenting with settings on zee camera!

Inspiration

So I did this the other day! 

By the time I got to 8 I was 1) buggered and 2) struggling! :)

I'll either make more sense now or LESS! ROFL!

Castleroche

So um was messing the other day and low and behold I ran across Castleroche!

I've ONLY LIVED HERE 25+ years and it's less than 15 mins away!

*FACEPALM*

It is said to have been built in 1236 by Lady Rohesia de Verdun,
granddaughter of Bertram de Verdun

Rohesia is said to have promised herself (yeah right the SCARLET!) in marriage to the architect if she liked the castle (ie according to how much he charged her! I wonder was it in "flesh" muahaahahhhh!) However, when he came to claim her hand she had him thrown out, what is now called,
the ‘murder window.

GO ROHESIA!!

The so called Murder window is in the pic above , top right and is boarded up!


It's built on a limestone outcropping and it had one hell of a moat
(I walked/scrambled/died) walking up it today


They run from the wheezing and MONOPOD OF DOOM!

It was the edge of "The Pale" and Cromwell is said to have demolished it

*shakes fist*
All the upper level windows have seats, and some structures like
the kitchens and what looks like a rabbit hole only not (see below) is still standing.


Coz I was being stalked by a ghost (I kid u not) I didn't get many shots

BUT

I shall be heading back with a minion in tow so they can
give me a "leg up" to where we shouldn't go!

Causeway, Antrim & Donegal Coasts

Nice huh? Was a lovely sunset!

So as promised more shots of the Causeway!

I'll be back up in September and we eventually (coz I will BE DRIVING)
get to Carrick a Rede and maybe if I can Rathlin!

Now Donegal is a hidden gem! It really is!

Just Back!

So I be just back from Benone Co. Antrim!

Twas so beautiful up there! Went with Mum and the two idiots (ie the dogs) and got some great shots (over 800) so I'll be winging my way through them!

We also went to Donegal and well it was very funny! Poor Spike (the stupid fucker - ie ME!!) was nearly drowned in a rip tide *facepalm* and I didn't commit any Murder so its all good like!

Have some shots of the Casueway as well which I'll post too!
